Safety precautions for construction workers are crucial across various activities. Improper handling or a lack of attention to recommendations can cause significant losses and drastically interfere with work. One point that deserves full attention is equipment storage. Even if the equipment is of high quality, special care is needed when storing materials when not in use. The storage location should be well-planned to facilitate movement and save space, and can be organized according to the size or frequency of use of the materials. Choose a location where there is no earthmoving. Pallets can be a good option for practical storage.

Scaffolding, hand tools, and materials must follow storage guidelines. See below for some important rules:

• Whenever possible, the pipes should be arranged lengthwise.
• The Kibloc crossbeams and posts should be stacked in piles.
• The accessories should be lubricated and stored in boxes or similar containers to avoid direct contact with the ground. The storage area should preferably be covered.
• The planks should be stored in stacks.
• The entire storage area should always be tidy and clean.
• Stockpile sand in flat areas, surrounded by wood and covered with plastic tarps.
• Store cement in a closed, dry place, inside its packaging.
• Stack bricks and blocks to a maximum height of 1,5m and cover them with tarpaulin.
• Steel bars can be stored in open areas for up to 90 days, away from contact with the ground.
• Electrical equipment should be kept in enclosed areas.
• Don't stockpile glass! Use it as soon as it arrives at the location.

Pay close attention to proper storage and ensure good service in every step of the process. Lack of planning can cause contamination, hardening, breakage, deformation, warping, and other damage to materials. Don't take risks and ensure the success of your project.
