ROHR at Setec – USP (Civil Engineering Thematic Week at the Polytechnic School of USP)

ROHR participated in the XII Setec – USP (Civil Engineering Thematic Week of the Polytechnic School of USP), on August 15, 17 and 18, with interactive activities and presentations of engineering technologies.
Day 1 – 08/15 Interactive Activity – “Access Engineering in Practice: Assembly of ROHR Scaffolding Systems
The students were divided into 3 groups and, with the help of ROHR's specialized assembly workforce, assembled one tower of the Tubular Steel System, one of the Kibloc Steel System, and a third of the Kibloc Aluminum System.
The activity encompassed the complete ROHR Solution, including: equipment delivered directly from the factory, navigation through 3D designs, assembly of scaffolding systems, and supervision by specialized ROHR personnel.

Day 2 – 08/17 ROHR Interactive Booth
ROHR provided a kiosk for navigating projects through Trimble, iPads also for accessing Trimble and the Augin Virtual Reality app, as well as a TV playing some videos about ROHR. Check out the photo gallery of the day.
Day 3 – 18/08 ROHR Lecture – “Invisible Engineering: Scaffolding, formwork, shoring and beam launching”
Presented by engineers Júlio César and Alexander Camargo, the lecture covered the main ROHR products.
With an interactive and modern approach, students used QR codes to submit and vote on questions through a platform, and at the end of the activity, the authors of the 6 most voted questions received the books: “Invisible Engineering” and “Brasília 50 Years: Strength and Lightness”, which were sponsored by ROHR.
