ROHR present at the renovation of the Basilica of Aparecida

Always eager to face new challenges, participating in the largest engineering projects in Brazil, we are known for presenting unique solutions. With these credentials, we are present in the renovation of the external facades of the Basilica of Aparecida do Norte, in the state of São Paulo, which is the largest Catholic temple in Brazil and will house the largest open-air Bible in the world.
A large structure was erected to carry out the cladding of the Basilica. The invisible work, which is the work before the construction, was present with the conceptualization and preparation of the structural project, calculations, and all the labor necessary for assembly.
For this project, ROHR presented the following solution: Aluminum flooring, tubular structure – Kibloc multidirectional scaffolding, and rack and pinion elevator.
The project's numbers are impressive: 50 meters high, with floor levels every two meters. The total scaffolding area of the north facade is 3.640 m², which consumed approximately 250 tons of equipment.
In total, we have 22 professionals on the ROHR assembly team involved in the work, with an estimated duration of four months.
