In this sense, in recent years, infrastructure focused on urban mobility has been one of the areas that has stood out for presenting enormous challenges to those responsible for city management.

In partnership with the construction company Etama, ROHR is contributing its technology and expertise to the construction of a new viaduct in Poá, a municipality of 118 inhabitants in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region. The new structure will be located parallel to the Tancredo Neves viaduct, in the city's central area. The project aims to alleviate traffic congestion during crossings over the CPTM (Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos) railway line.

On-site, the versatility of our lightweight HF formwork has made all the difference. The equipment has been used in the walls, precast beams, and sides of the crossbeams throughout the structure. It's worth adding that the HF ROHR formwork has proven to be a major differentiator and has fit very well with the precast beam solutions for the viaduct. This is crucial given the number of beams to be constructed.

Furthermore, for the shoring of the viaduct construction, ROHR provided the ETEM system , which ensures a high load capacity for the crossbeams, as it is a robust and safe piece of equipment. The access stairs to the construction site utilize Kibloc tubular equipment, a material that is easy to assemble.

From the moment the client requested studies for formwork , shoring , and access stairs for the project , our delivery and differentiated service have been guided by efficiency and speed, some of our hallmarks in the market. When completed, the viaduct should resolve the overload of vehicles that the Tancredo Neves viaduct, currently considered saturated, receives daily. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2023, according to the Poá city hall.
