Metal shoring in Brasília showcases ROHR's versatility.

In a trajectory that began in 1963, ROHR participated in constructions such as the Municipal Theater of São Paulo, back in the 1960s; the Rodovia dos Imigrantes highway, which connects São Paulo to the coast of São Paulo state, in the 1970s; and the expansion of the São Paulo subway system in the 1980s. But beyond this presence in infrastructure projects and historical buildings, the company also has a track record of excellence in high-end residential buildings.
Over six months in 2019, ROHR participated, with its products, services, and extensive knowledge, in a project developed by BCS Construtora. This involved a high-end house located in Lago Sul, Brasília, in the Federal District. The three-story building, with an area of 974,55 m², had its metal column bracing and metal formwork for its beams and slabs constructed by us, with the supply of the ETEM Tower System, formwork, beams, jacks, and shoring.
The residence was built using ROHR technology for the formwork of the slabs and beams, with a combined supply from Torre ETEM. For the main beam structure of the building, aluminum and metal beams were used, while for the secondary beam structure, metal beams were chosen. The project had supervision and technical assistance from ROHR professionals, which ensured excellence, knowledge, and experience with 57 years of market recognition.
Some data allows us to verify the size of the project and its challenges. ROHR supplied 41 tons of equipment, consisting of EAV18 model aluminum beams; V7,5 and V18 model metal beams, equipped tubes for bracing towers, including metal shoring between supports, accessories and the ETEM System. 100% metal HF formwork was used for the concreting of the retaining walls.
