What type of shoring is needed for sandy soil?
Essentially, sandy terrain requires continuous shoring, without gaps between the walls, focusing on the support, which must resist the forces transmitted by the uprights, which can be props or towers. If the support cannot withstand the transmitted pressure, we either reduce this pressure by increasing the support area of the upright or by creating a support that resists the forces from the uprights.

How should a concrete slab be shored up?
Analyzing permanent loads (weight of the structure), live loads, and accidental loads, we can find basic guidelines for calculating shoring in standard 15696. The material used also directs us to verify other relevant standards.
