2016 promises to be a year where the eyes of the entire world will be on Brazil. More specifically, on Rio de Janeiro. The city, the stage for the world's largest sporting event, the Olympics, has prepared itself to put on a great show. Investment in the infrastructure that will support the games and the public has also been an important part of this preparation, since the safety of everyone present is fundamental. Without quality facilities, well-built and prepared for the public and athletes, it is impossible to guarantee good memories.

Currently, construction on the Olympic City is nearing 83% to 100% completion. Facilities such as the Arena of the Future (capacity of 10 people), the Olympic Golf Course (capacity of 25 people), and others are already finished. The Athletes' Village, for example, is almost ready for the start of the Games. The facilities also include the development of the stands that will support the public and the sports arenas on the beach. All work has been carried out with structures that will guarantee the smooth running of the event, as in the construction of the Copacabana Arena, which involved moving and compacting the sand to level it, preparing for the assembly of the stands and the construction of frontal dunes for protection, which are already taking shape and captivating the public. The central court will accommodate 12 spectators, and the site will include 2 outdoor courts for warm-up and 5 for training. Among the projects, noteworthy is the contracting of the barge from which athletes will jump to perform certain events, and a self-leveling platform that will connect to a pier via a mobile walkway, allowing boarding for access to the barge. Rio also has several structures for the games, such as the Olympic Aquatic Stadium and the Olympic Velodrome, both under construction.

The country is rooting for each match to bring victories to Brazil, not only on the field but in every social sphere, showing Brazilians and tourists alike a strong foundation for a grand event.
