How to assemble a shoring system with an ETEM Tower
Hello! Welcome to another ROHR assembly tutorial.
We'll show you how to do formwork with ETEM.
Salles and his team will lead this process.
First and foremost, it's always important to talk about workplace safety. I'm here with Edson, who can explain this better.
OK, Salles. For every activity, workplace safety must always come first here at ROHR. First and foremost, it's very important to emphasize the importance of the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) we use for this activity, such as helmets, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, safety harnesses, and safety footwear.
Edson, what is APR?
So, Salles. A Preliminary Risk Analysis (APR) is nothing more than a preliminary risk analysis that aims to eliminate or minimize existing risks in the work area before the start of the activity, checking for certain types of interference, such as uneven floors, electrical wiring, or some other type of obstruction. And it should always be carried out by an occupational safety professional.
Great! Let's get to the assembly.
Now we will begin assembling the ETEM tower by positioning the jacks.
We will fit together the end crossbars, the horizontal diagonals, and the ETEM frames.
After the first ring, it is important to check the level of the tower.
Alright! With the leveling done, we'll move on to the second ring. Shall we?
We will then fit the frames into the tower until we reach the height specified in the project. After that, we will attach the end beams to the tower.
Now let's place the pitchfork on top of the tower.
The bullfighter is being positioned to receive the main league title.
Great! With that done, let's move on to the secondary beams.
He put the top fork in place, and the tripod to hold the support is being put in place. Now we're going to adjust the leveling.
After the main beam is laid, it's time to lay the secondary beam or joist.
Let's check the level of the joisting according to the ROHR project.
The next step is to place the beam bottom forms on top of the joist. Then, we place the beam sides, which are locked together with clamps.
Next, the other side of the beam will be braced with tensioners.
To close the system, we need to apply the aligners. They must be attached to the panels with fastening clips. This must be done at all panel joints.
Ready! Now it's time for the checklist.
The assembly of your formwork is complete. So, let's go through the checklist to ensure everything was done correctly.
First, check that the foundations are firm and that the ETEM towers are level. Verify that the forks are touching the main beam and that the supports are plumb.
Check if the spacing of the secondary beams is in accordance with the design.
Done! Your formwork is ready for use.
